5.	Surrender	In this bet, the player ends the hand immediately and loses half of the bet. This option is selectively available at the casinos. This is allowed as a first decision in most cases.
6.	Insurance	This is a side bet. This is applicable when the dealer shows an ace. The dealer asks for insurance bets before the game begins. It is not recommended to take the insurance bets as these lose in the long run. The chance of the dealer getting an ace in the hole card in 1 in 10. The chance of the dealer having a blackjack is 1 in 3.
